Our week long stay at Eco Lanta Hideaway Beach Resort was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warm hospitality of the friendly staff, who made us feel right at home.

The resort is beautifully nestled amidst lush nature, providing a stunning backdrop for our family vacation. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the playground and spent hours enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. The spacious swimming pool was another highlight, where we shared laughter and splashes, creating wonderful memories together.

The beach was just a stone's throw away, and we couldn't resist the allure of the inviting sea. Watching our children explore the shore and swim in the gentle waves was a pure joy. After a day of fun and adventure, we indulged in relaxing massages, which offered a perfect escape for the adults.

Dining at the resort's restaurant was a delightful experience. Each meal was a culinary treat, with a variety of delicious options that catered to both adults and kids alike. One evening, we enjoyed the enchanting live music and fire show, which brought a magical atmosphere to our dining experience.

We loved lounging on the sunbeds while sipping refreshing cocktails and soaking in the serene surroundings. The combination of beautiful nature, friendly staff, and fantastic amenities made this trip unforgettable.

Such a beautiful and happy resort. The location is fabulous by the beach. Our eco dome was practically on the beach with lots of light and a wonderful sea view. The bed was very comfortable, our room and bathroom were very clean and the food delicious. The staff were super-friendly and quick to respond to any request. There are lots of great day trips from the resort which are very well organised. Also, transport can be organised by the staff at reception to your next destination or various airports which makes travelling so easy. I thoroughly recommend this resort whether you’re single, a couple, or a family.

The resort did not meet expectations given the high-season rates charged. For the price point, there are better options available elsewhere on Koh Lanta, you may want to compare carefully before booking.
Our bungalow had several comfort and maintenance issues. One bedroom and the bathroom did not have air conditioning, which made those areas uncomfortably hot. More concerning were nails protruding from the floor in multiple places, which poses a safety risk, especially for children. By far the worst, we also experienced a significant number of cockroaches and millipedes inside the bungalow, every night entering through many visible gaps in the walls.
The pool was another disappointment. While it is prominently featured in photos on Google and booking platforms, it did not appear to be used by guests much during our one week stay since the water looked very murky. Management explained that they use sea water rather than chlorine but that didn't make it more appealing to guests.
Wi-Fi access was very limited and only worked near the reception area. It was not usable from our bungalow.
When we raised these concerns, management tended to deny or minimize them, first even stating they had not heard of such issues before. This was surprising, as other guests mentioned similar problems during our stay to management, and the same points also appear repeatedly in existing reviews even from 2025.
We left two weeks early than originally planned as our stay felt very unpleasant.
Overall, while the setting near the beach has great potential, the current condition of bungalows and management response do not justify the premium pricing, particularly during high season.

Stayed here for few nights with my puppy, loved this place was very peaceful on the beach, amazing sunsets. The rooms were very clean and comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and service was great and the manager was also very helpful with everything we needed to book on the island, he even gave us his bike to go do something in the city! Highly recommended!! Will definitely come back.

Our stay at Eco Lanta was pure magic

From the moment we arrived, we felt we discovered a little slice of paradise — bamboo bungalows tucked right on the sand of Long Beach, Koh Lanta. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves, watching the sunset from our porch, sharing cocktails under fair‑lights by the sea — it was everything we hoped for and more.

The bungalow itself was simple and natural, but clean and cozy. Air‑con and a comfy hammock made it feel like home. We loved the relaxed vibe: no big crowds, no noisy nightlife — just calm, slow days and peaceful nights

The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful (special thanks to the umbrella‑guy who always had a smile). Whether we needed a scooter, tips on good restaurants nearby, or a massage after a long day — they had our back and made sure we felt welcome.
