We had an awesome time in the Bungalow and with Don (the owner) and his family. The Bungalow was very well furnished, with beautiful plants around the house, it was spotlessly clean and cutely decorated with fresh flower pedals. We felt very welcomed and at home here. Don recommended us a lot of good spots and activities in the area, touristy and not touristy. He was always available on WhatsApp and upon asking he brought us a cheap to rent scooter.
We recommend staying at smile @ home for everyone who wants an authentic, non touristy area with lots of hidden gems like the dragon view bar and also because you get to stay with Thailands unofficial national treasure, Don the owner and his lovely family, who made the best sticky rice for us.
I hope we can visit you again in the future.
Very nice owners gave us free mango sticky rice in the morning, and mango smoothies. Owner helped us find next place to stay and recommended lots of activities around.
26/01/2025 15:05Don place is like home away from home. Friendly and warm welcome made our stay great from the first moment Don picked us on the airport. He also helped us with local trip organization, restaurants recommendations and scooter rentals. Apartments are pristine clean well maintained and beautifully decorated. We specially liked garden style

Very comfortable stay, super helpfull host. Located a bit out of the busy areas, but that was exactly what I was looking for. Every day treated to some local cuisine by Don's wife, delicious. House and garden are beautifull, located next to a small farm with some cows, booming with wildlife. No reception so check with the host when you can arrive.
Scooter rental for good price, fun excursion to hot springs and emerald/crystal pool too!
Best home/hotel I stayed at in 3 months Thailand. 10/10 recommend and this will be my first stop when I get back to Krabi. Thank you very much for the hospitality Don
Very nice house with a beautiful garden. Only 15 minutes walk along a beautiful scenery of green fields with cows and (palm)trees, to get to the beach where you can find nice bars and restaurants. The host and his family are very nice and always ready to help whenever and with whatever they can. You can rent motorcycles and he arranges trips to the islands by longtailboat as well as kayak trips. Absolutely recommendable accommodation!
