Aonang Buri Resort

The pictures online were much better than in person. The room smelled constantly (mostly in early morning hours). The toilet seat had clear plastic tape on both sides which was kind of gross and unsanitary. The pool area was small and always full with no reclining chairs available.

Friendly and helpful staff. Stones throw away from beach and a 5min walk to the night market. They provide 2wheelers to rent at a very affordable price. Breakfast spread was good. Varieties of dishes to choose from. Will definitely be coming back to stay here again! The door of the bathroom in the room which we were staying needs to be fixed. Other than that everything was perfect

We really liked this hotel, and I’m close to rating it five stars, but we didn’t get the room we booked from the beginning. It was presented to us as an upgrade, and maybe it really was their intention, but although a bigger room, the room was on the second floor with a view over roofs and the road instead of being on the ground floor and having a garden view (we have a baby and stroller, so big con when there isn’t an elevator). There was a lot of noise from the hotel right next to us, and there was mold in the bathroom and a bad smell as well. There was a door (locked) into a different bedroom, and that was not soundproof After seeing the room, we asked to get the one matching our booking, but were told that it wasn’t possible until the next day because the hotel was fully booked. We got it the next day, and it was a much better room, but this felt like a bad start - especially because we were staying for 10 nights, and the room therefore was important to us.

Other than that, location of the hotel was great, pool area was really nice and well kept, and staff in the restaurant were extremely kind, always chatting with our baby and quickly bringing a baby chair for us. Breakfast was really good as well.

I like the hotel. We got upgraded when we arrived. Room was big and clean. Not noisy. No smell in the room. I can’t say for another rooms. Bed is big and comfortable. Only little minus is bed sheets and shower things. Need to refresh it. Breakfast was good with eggs station. Swimming pool clean and sun beds new. Beach is across the road. We enjoyed our stay. And everything nearby.

My rating is simply based on the rating that I see this hotel being.
The stay was lovely and staff friendly and helpful. The pool and pool area was nice. Location is awesome.
The rooms are ok. They are nowhere near as nice as the photos make them out to be neither is the hotel. There are no lifts at all. Out balcony door would not close or lock properly. Room was generally clean but curtains where moldy..overall it was a pleasant enough stay but slightly disappointed in the room quality.
