A peaceful park by the river, perfect for relaxation and exercise. It has a spacious jogging track, outdoor gym equipment, and plenty of shaded areas to sit and enjoy nature. The atmosphere is calm, especially in the morning and late afternoon, making it a great spot for both locals and visitors to unwind and enjoy the view.

Lovely park and very big. Has one 11 man soccer pitch, beach volleyball, 3 outdoor tennis courts, gymnasium, basketball court, futsal 5v5, pickleball, multiple calisthenics machines, a big lake, parking, 7 eleven nearby.

I visited Thara Park in Krabi Town, which is a spacious public park along the Krabi River. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience, especially in the late afternoon when many locals and other visitors came out to walk, jog, or simply enjoy the cool breeze by the water. The park has plenty of open grassy areas, shaded pathways, and places to sit, which made it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I also noticed families and children playing on the playground, as well as people exercising or playing sports like football and basketball on the courts. In the evening, small street food vendors appear near the park entrance, offering snacks and drinks that are perfect for a casual picnic alongside the river. Overall, the visit felt like a genuine slice of daily life in Krabi — peaceful, green, and welcoming.

The energy here hits different, especially when you catch it at sunrise or golden hour. Pure calm, zero rush. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is the perfect escape to move your body, breathe in that river air, and let the day melt away. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Great kids park with a lot of creative free rides. No tickets, no wait times. Just nice time for your kid. I would highly recommend this park because in Krabi, I haven't saw a park better than this. What makes it special is there's a hose nearby. If your kids gets dirty or you want to wash hands, you can get it done as well. With great views and secure boundary line, away from road, your kids are safe here.
