GORGEOUS VIEWS!!!!!! And delicious coffee!! It does cost 60 baht to get a ride to the top but soo worth it. Definitely come here for pictures!!! And staying for sunset would be stunning. Even the bathroom has amazing views!!!

Unfortunately, the food was just ok and the cocktail were quite watery and flavourless.

Wouldn't recommend the soft shell crab salad as it's mostly breading and leaves, though the dressing was delicious and saved the dish. The pad see ew was ok, I liked the noodles but the sauce could've been more bold (still the best dish out of all I had). The green curry tasted nice but the chicken was chopped so small that it overcooked and became chewy.

If you're looking for somewhere nice to take photos this is the place. However, you won't find the tastiest food in Krabi here and the prices are a bit on the more expensive side for what you get.

Khao Thong Hill is undeniably one of the most scenic spots in Krabi. The panoramic view over the limestone karsts and Phang Nga Bay is absolutely stunning.

the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. Prices are on the higher side compared to other restaurants in the area, and while the presentation is decent, the flavors are fairly average. Nothing was bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. You’re clearly paying more for the location than the culinary experience.

A very beautiful and picturesque place. If you want to feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard, it’s definitely worth the trip up here. The panoramic view over the turquoise water and limestone islands is absolutely breathtaking, and every angle is photo-worthy.

It’s the perfect place to relax with a drink or a meal while enjoying nature. Sunset here is especially magical, with soft colors over the islands and sea.

Khaothong Hill is one of those places that feels a little tucked away, which honestly adds to the charm. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Ao Nang, and you’ll need to park at the base of the hill and take a shuttle up for 60 baht. That felt completely reasonable since they don’t allow all vehicles to drive up. Taxis can drop you there, but getting one back isn’t guaranteed, so it’s definitely worth negotiating with your driver to wait.

The real reason to come here is the view. Perched on the hilltop, the cafe overlooks the ocean and Krabi’s dramatic karst peaks, and sunset is absolutely the best time to visit. You get an almost 180-degree view of the sea, dotted with karst islands, with Phuket visible in the distance. It’s incredibly picturesque and feels very peaceful.

The cafe itself has two levels — air-conditioned indoor seating and a natural outdoor area. The outdoor section does come with a 1,000 baht minimum spend per table, which makes sense for groups but feels a bit steep if you’re visiting solo.

Food-wise, everything was solid. I tried the fried calamari, quinoa salad with prawns, and spaghetti, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The cream mayonnaise served with the calamari was especially memorable. Overall, a scenic and relaxing spot that’s well worth the trip for sunset views.
