About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

We initially booked a standard room without the sea view, which was located towards the bottom of the resort. Unfortunately, the room felt extremely old and run down. It looked nothing like the photos and honestly felt quite unpleasant — we were already looking at options to move out because it felt so dated and unclean.
We decided to pay extra to upgrade to a sea view room higher up the resort, and the difference was unbelievable. The upgraded room felt much more modern, clean, and luxurious, and the view was great.
It’s hard to understand how two rooms in the same hotel can feel so completely different. If you plan to stay here, I would strongly recommend booking one of the higher sea view rooms.
A stay of contrasts. The location is perfect – close to everything in Ao Nang but tucked away from the noise. The service is top-notch; the staff is very welcoming, and the golf cart shuttle to the room is a huge plus!
However, the room layout is quite strange. It feels a bit dark and empty with bare walls, and the bathroom is unfortunately rather gloomy. There is also a lack of storage for luggage. That being said, the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking and truly saves the experience. Stay here for the view and the wonderful staff!
The resort is well situated, very near to the Ao Nang beach. We booked an ocean view room and the views were surreal. Although, the staff behaviour, especially reception staff, can be better. The check-in was very late around 3 PM. During the checkout we were charged 300 bahts from our security deposit due to a lost slipper although we are pretty sure we left the slipper in the room only.
17/02/2026 20:02Stayed here for 3 nights for what we paid for this hotel and considering that in Thailand you get more for what you pay, we were disappointed with our stay.
We were based by the smaller pool- the room was clean but old fashioned and basic. The main door is a French door. The screw for the lock was so hanging out and the safe didn’t work- I went to report this and the staff were helpful & sent the maintenance guy out quickly. It still didn’t feel right that the main door to your room is so flimsy.
The main pool at the top is lovely and has a stunning view. Sunbeds are not like the pics for both pools. The toilets by the reception & by the pool are pretty poor/smelly.
The staff were lovely but just felt they were overran- there was no explanation to tell us anything about things/ opening times of anything in the hotel when we checked in.
The location is a 5/5 and that’s the bonus for this hotel.
Unless you’re paying for one of the top rooms (where you get the view, your own bath & the main pool is in front of you) I’d check other options.
We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful experience. Our room (No. 726) was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view from the balcony.
We especially loved the pool with a bar — the view from there was absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, pleasant, and relaxing. A big advantage is the location: the resort is close to the main street, yet very quiet, with no street noise reaching the hotel. There are many great restaurants, bars, and services nearby, including massage places.
We definitely recommend this resort and would love to come back again.
