About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Poor service, there was no water to even bath and the rooms are tiny with no amenities..very bad experience..never book this hotel and the location is too far from the city too
28/02/2026 10:26Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The photos must be at least 10 years old because the place looks nothing like that in reality. The accommodation is in terrible condition. Everything creaks and groans. The walls are so thin you can hear everything from the outside. There is no peace or quiet here. The bed was so hard that the springs left bruises on my back.
When I arrived, there was no water, and it took several hours before they were able to fix it, so I couldn’t even take a shower. Hygiene is clearly not a priority here. The staff is unprofessional and speaks barely any English.
We enjoyed every night there! Planned to stay 1 night, but came back and stay for 3 nights. Staff is so cute! Thank you!!!! Bungalows are so clean, pool was our best place to chill! And yes, you will hear nature sounds and you will have maybe some mosquitos, but hey-its bamboo house! Enjoy the nature!!!!
10/11/2025 21:17Bamboo rooms are just amazing. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. It was an amazing experience to spend the night there. There is a swimming pool which comes with a beautiful scenery of the bamboo rooms. The swimming pool depth is around 1.30m i believe since my wife enjoyed swimming there and she is 1.55m. There is a restaurant and muay thai training ground next to the resort.
There was only one inconvenience: we encountered two cockroaches but they got out easily; well it is a bamboo room so that’s normal.
the wifi doesn’t really work inside the rooms that are far a bit from the main router. I think they haven’t set hotspots around.
We booked it in April 19$.
I stayed at this hotel for three days, and it was an absolute nightmare. While the location is decent—just an 8-minute drive to Ao Nang Night Street—and there are laundry services nearby, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The staff was polite, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the terrible conditions of the accommodations.
The huts themselves are very basic, which would have been fine if they were at least well-maintained. However, they were in terrible shape. The bedsheets and towels were ragged, and the pillowcases didn’t even match the sheets. The quality was so poor that I wasn’t even sure if they had been properly washed.
Our bed had two mattresses stacked on top of each other—the bottom one was a spring mattress with the springs poking out, and instead of replacing it, they simply placed another mattress on top. That mattress kept sliding with minimal movement, and I was repeatedly hurt by the exposed springs. To make things worse, the bed frame itself was broken.
In another room, my friend got injured by nails sticking out of the wall.
The so-called amenities were joke. The only things provided were two tiny plastic bottles of shampoo, each barely 20mL—nothing else at all.
For the same price, you can easily find a much better hotel nearby. This place is poorly maintained, uncomfortable, and not worth your money. I do not recommend it at all.
