About Krabi and Ao Nang

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

The service was bad. Wifi connection is VERY SLOW and we ask for a better wifi connection and got "okay" as a reply. Worse of all, there are lots of geckos outside the door and come inside the room through the door when you turn off the light. I was horrific and couldn't sleep at night. Have to leave my light on for all night. A/C not cool, have to rely on the fan only.

This is down a side street in a very nice quite alleyway with beautiful settings and the amazing mountain behide it. The rooms are basic Thai style with comfortable beds and clean with good aircons and fans. The lady owner (Auntie) is such a wonderful lady and so helpful. It really was a proper Thai experience and cheaper than other hotels near by.
Great location.
People complain about the WiFi!
If you want great WiFi go to Finland, Korea or Norway, otherwise no different than a Premier Inn back in England.
People complain about the bathrooms!
It's a Thai style bathroom, it works, get other it.
I lived this place so much and Auntie made us feel so welcome.
Has a giant lizard under the bungalows and gliding squirrels in the mango trees.
Loved it.
Thank you Auntie x

Very expensive electric 20 thb/kwh. But in other bungalows is 7 thb/kwh. Water is expensive too. You should pay extra 100 thb for trash. Cleaning after check out is 500 thb, and it is required, but you do not know about it when check in. Cleaning the room during living is 300 thb, it is too expensive, but hopefully is not required. A little bit noisy, because main road is not far.

It's a rather quiet place, On the negative side there is the usual oldstyle small TV with no international channel, no news, no movies, however you have a lot of Thai tv with commercials. There is a garden where you might can see a big lizzard walking around.

For 1000 bath its either expensive or cheap. But you can sleep.
