About Krabi and Koh Lanta

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Koh Lanta sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Overall, it is a nice little hotel with very green and well-maintained grounds. The beach area is beautiful with plenty of shadow, with seating and sun loungers to relax.

However, there were a few drawbacks during our stay. We booked a standard bungalow, and the interior, especially the bath room, was very basic and felt a bit dated.
That being said, everything you essentially need was provided. The bed was fine for a few days, and the air conditioning worked well. The Wi-Fi was a bit unstable at times but generally okay.

One thing to watch out for: the bathroom door in our room was less than 1.80m high. If you are tall, you might hit your head on the door frame constantly.

We also encountered quite a few mosquitoes in the room. We ended up buying our own tools at the nearby mini-market, but it would be great if the hotel could provide more solutions for this.

In summary, the hotel was pleasant for a short stay, and you can definitely have a relaxing time here. But in my opinion, the value for money isn't quite right for the standard rooms.

It was an excellent place to relax and enjoy. The staff was warm and friendly. Food was top notch. Not to big of menu but more than you need. Bar was fun and had great drink choices. All the best to Nando and his staff. Thank you.

Located directly at the beach, which is incredible. However, directly next to the resort there is a very loud bar, which kept us awake till 3AM… we booked for 5 nights, but decided to cancel the rest of our stay after the first night. Not here to party or sleep 4 hours per night. When we arrived, we did feel a bit unwelcome, as most of the staff ignored us. Nevertheless, the staff was very accommodating in finding a solution for the noise, and we could cancel the rest of the stay without additional cost.

Great spot absolutely charming host Namdo amd super friendly staff. Relaxing stay. Its style. A few tweaks need updating. Bathroom lock on wrong side of door. Bathroom fittings are rather tired etc but you pay fie what you get. Nice touch of a bottle of water each day placed in the room for each guest.

The Honeymoon Room is simply beautiful — just one meter from the beach, where you can fall asleep to the gentle sound of the waves at night. The hotel staff is wonderful and always takes great care to make sure you feel comfortable and well looked after. The scooter we rented was perfect for exploring the island. All in all, it’s a truly fantastic place to stay and unwind.
