About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and groovy stay in Ao Nang—this bungalow is a must-visit!
The host is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are neat, spacious, and well maintained. Daily housekeeping is provided, so you return to a clean room at the end of the day. The pool is nice, and the breakfast is good. Bike rent shops and Restaurants are at main road which is 150mtr walk away
Disliked · The road to the property is little steep and some vehicle will be reluctant to come here.
Also it would be good if property can arrange dinner or lunch on demand to the customer
Great place to stay, the owner runs it with her family which will make you feel like a home stay. Very quiet and chilled vibes. They also have breakfast included in the stay.
24/12/2025 16:13The best part of our visit was Groovy bungalows. The houses are a bit old fashioned, but the garden and pool was amazing. Nice and quiet. Best part - the owners. Such kind and warm people.
06/12/2025 22:47Unfortunately, the bungalow is a mix of old and worn-out furniture. The interior is very outdated; in fact, almost everything in the bungalow is in need of replacement. The shower has barely any water pressure, making it nearly impossible to wash your hair. Outside, there are no cushions on the chairs or sunbeds, which makes them uncomfortable to use.
Inside, there is no kettle, and the fridge makes a lot of noise while standing loosely in the room without any cabinet around it.
There are some positive points as well: the bed is comfortable, the room is clean, and it’s cleaned every day. The small scale of the hotel is also nice, and the owners genuinely do their best to make guests feel welcome.
However, I find the price–quality ratio off. I paid €50 per night, and considering the condition of the bungalow, that is really too much.
