About Krabi and Krabi province
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Krabi province sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

We stayed six days at Nakamanda Resort & Spa, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and no matter what you ask for, you receive professional and kind assistance.
The surroundings are truly beautiful, and the pool area is calm and inviting with an open and stunning view of the sea. The resort is designed to provide privacy and tranquility, so guests do not disturb one another. The rooms are elegant, well maintained, and very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. It is truly exceptional – no matter where you are from or what you enjoy eating for breakfast, you will find it here. There is simply everything your heart could desire.
Overall, this is a very well-executed resort with nothing to complain about. We can highly recommend it and would gladly return.
This is a beautifully maintained property that offers a truly peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for couples. The grounds are immaculate, and the sense of calm from the moment you arrive is wonderful. The staff were the highlight of our stay—they were not only incredibly helpful but also genuinely attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. We left feeling completely relaxed and cared for. Highly recommended for a romantic escape.

We have had the most wonderful stay here. Location setting is stunning. The food is delicious. Pool clean and beach fab.
We booked an upper villa room, I loved the layout of room, bathroom.
The staff: special mention to Alid for dinner, very helpful and friendly, also Mut at breakfast, always smiling and working hard. The lovely driver Mad, who drove us to places most days and our transfer back to phuket, would highly recommend airport transfer, luxury vehicle. Porters &
Reception ladies were always happy to help and even waved us goodbye room ladies, super lovely too.
Thank you Nakamanda what a super team you have.
I stayed here for several nights and truly enjoyed the location and the scale of the hotel—it’s not too big or crowded, which is perfect. The rooms are a bit dated, but the overall design of the property is lovely, and the beach itself is beautiful.
However, I have to mention a serious issue. During my morning walks, I noticed sewage flowing directly into the small bay where the hotel is located. The smell was quite overwhelming, which unfortunately made me lose any desire to swim in the ocean there.
I truly hope the hotel starts caring for the environment and nature as much as they care for their guests. If this issue is addressed, I would love to return.
Very nice resort, it feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, especially when you see the sign at the door about monkeys. Great service, well-appointed although a bit dated rooms, comfy beds and nice pool. The restaurant on premises is pricey and the food is mediocre, but there are plenty of good restaurants around the corner. The breakfast is plentiful and very tasty, I like that you can make your own fresh juice. Yes, as many reviewers mentioned there is a sewage smell closer to the pool, so I would not recommend to book villas closer to the beach. I was disappointed with the beach, you can swim only during the high tide in the morning ands it is impossible on the afternoon during the low tide because of many exposed rocks. We found a spot with almost no rocks on the left in front of abandoned Krabi hotel. If you are looking for a swimming, turquoise water beach, this hotel may not be for you.
