About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Had a nice stay here despite the construction happening in front of our patio. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff was warm and welcoming. It was difficult to book a poolside massage so we just went to some of the many massage places along the beach road.
The breakfast buffet was OK, but could certainly benefit from more variety and better coffee.
Our stay at Aonang Villa Resort was absolutely wonderful and memorable from start to finish. We traveled during peak high season, and despite the hotel being very busy, the staff went out of their way to help us feel comfortable and cared for.
When we arrived, the team kindly assisted us in switching our reservation from one king bed to two twin beds since I was traveling with my daughter. That level of flexibility during such a busy time truly meant a lot. They also helped move our luggage, and every staff member we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful.
The hotel has recently been renovated, and it shows. The restaurants and bars are beautiful and modern, and the overall atmosphere feels fresh while still relaxed. The food on site is very good, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options so everyone can easily find something they enjoy.
The pools are stunning, and the sunsets are breathtaking. Watching the sky change colors in the evening was one of our favorite parts of the stay.
And the location truly cannot be beat. You are right in the heart of Ao Nang, steps from shops, restaurants, and the beach, yet the resort still feels peaceful.
We stayed over New Year’s Eve, and the experience was magical. Our room included a gala dinner with live bands right on the beach. The view, the music, and the endless lanterns floating overhead created a moment we will never forget.
This resort combines kindness, comfort, beauty, and an unbeatable location. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Krabi.
Everything about this resort is good but I still gave 1 star because right now they have construction work going on around entire resort and especially in front of all sea view rooms. Due to this there is lot of noise and dust. My room was on 3rd floor, sea facing and there is construction work going on that floor which makes it more noisy and dusty. Water coming in my bath is all brown. Hotel staff gave me 2 complimentary drinks to compensate the noise but that’s not what I am here for. I flew 18 hours to enjoy and relax at good property but resort management did not even mentioned about construction work when I was making bookings which is such a lie for guests. Construction/Renovation are definitely important for any hotels or resorts and of course they cannot close their business for months just to finish work but management should mention about it on website and then let guest make the choice. It’s not like during construction work you are getting cheaper prices for rooms. So this like cheating their guests. Engineers were working in my room for 15 mins till I left but still they were not able to fix all dirty brown water coming from taps. I had to amend my plans because of that. So unless you are okay with the situation, book sea view rooms else go for garden view which is still okay. Also, construction works looks massive and may take another 4-5 months to complete. So make sure to call hotel before booking.
01/12/2025 23:05This hotel has such potential as it’s in a great location with amazing views and some parts of it look 5 star. It’s let down on a few points though. WiFi is really flaky. I resorted to my mobile plan most of the time. Breakfast is just ok, but a really nice outdoor area with a view of the islands. The pool bar at the ocean front is recently completed, but tiles are already falling off leaving sharp edges where you sit. Rooms are large but plain. Water pressure on the third floor was weak and tap water is salty. Balconies are great.
22/02/2026 22:01What an amazing experience! There was construction on going while we were visiting but it did not bother us since we were out and about for most of the day. The staff were so very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay ❤️. The pool was soo relaxing. Comfy beds- combined the twin beds into a large family bed for us. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and included a variety of good options. Great location and the property is well maintained. The kindness of the staff is what made all the difference
