About Krabi and Koh Lanta
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Koh Lanta sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

We spent a wonderful week at Coco Lanta. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in our room rate and they had made to order omelettes and a wonderful fruit selection.
The location was perfect for watching sunsets each evening and there were plenty of places in walking distance.
The cottage was small but comfortable with a nice size bathroom and a front porch to relax.
Didnt stay but stopped for food and drinks..Ordered a T bone steak which was pretty good for the price! Tried some other dishes and can say the food quality was quite high in comparison to most beach front restaurants. They do happy hour cocktails too :)
03/02/2026 19:35Excellent resort, highly recommend. Lovely helpful staff. Lovely clean and quiet accommodation with nice and quiet heat pump. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower. They give you a towel for the pool. Pool is lovely. Food is fantastic- breakfast has cereal, toast, fruit, coffee machine, omelette and a few other hot foods. Had a fantastic pad Thai for lunch when we didn’t go out exploring the island. They have massages, scooter hire, a pool table, Barbour, manicure and a great gym. They provide water bottles for refilling which is great. The location is excellent with a lovely beach. We got to experience live music with a fire show on one of the nights- was excellent music and probably the best fire show I have seen in Thailand- four people that did had a cool display of talents that were different from your standard shows. It was a fantastic stay and provided everything we needed.

The common areas within the resort are nice and quiet, with the outdoor gym a nice bonus although much of the equipment was corroded to the point of being nearly unusable.
Check in was smooth and helpful, and the provided reusable water bottles with refill station was appreciated.
The bungalow experience appeared nicer than the “apartment” building near the entrance - the room was large but not particularly comfortable and noise from surrounding units and the road was noticeable.
The pool area is pleasant however the view of the beach is completely blocked by the restaurant and bar.
Overall the beach facing area of the resort was lacking, as it is mostly crowded out by the bar restaurant and massage center making it feel fairly commercial. There is limited resort provided beach seating with no shade, and poorly marked what is for resort guests
The beach is highly rocky, however there is a small area clear of rocks directly in front of the resort for wading.
Nearby restaurants are excellent with tons of options, and a helpful market is right at the entrance to the road
The provided breakfast was completely adequate, and scooter rentals were available
The resort is about 20min from the ferry port and located directly at the beach. The rooms are little houses. The family room is spacious for 2 persons.
The hotel area is nice but there could be some improvements.
The gym equipment is in a bad condition. Most of it is corrugated, the mats are very old, some boxing gloves are not really there anymore. The staff should invest the same or at least half the time in the equipment as they do in sweeping the leaves off the grounds.
Water is free at the reception (you get aluminum bottle). Staff is very friendly. Massage on the premises is good.
Breakfast was okay.
