About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Had to change the accommodation and this place had availability for a twin room. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. They picked us up and our luggages from the previous hotel and had the room ready in no time. The bed was super comfy, the garden and pool area have amazing views. The breakfast has decent options but nothing crazy.
For us, it was the best decision to change hotels and we had an incredible time in Ao Nang mainly because this place.
This is a well-maintained three-star hotel with nice views, suitable for calm travelers or small families looking for a simple, basic stay for a short period. However, I wouldn’t stay here again for the following reasons:
1. Room accessibility
We were assigned a fourth-floor room with no elevator, which was very inconvenient. Requests to move to a lower floor were declined due to the hotel being fully booked.
2. Insects
I stayed in two different hotels during this trip. I’m aware that mosquitoes are part of the atmosphere in Thailand, but I’m mentioning this because in the previous hotel (closer to the beach), which was very well maintained, I was never bitten, neither in the room nor in common areas. At this hotel, however, we were bitten multiple times in both the room and reception area. The hotel keeps doors and windows open for long periods, which likely contributes to the issue.
3. Location and transport
The hotel is far from the beach and main areas if you don’t have a car. The shuttle bus is available but often full during peak hours, leading to long waits or the need to take a taxi. The pool area is very quiet and lacks calm background music, which would help create some atmosphere.
4. Bar and amenities
The bar closes at 10 p.m. and only serves soft drinks and beer. There was no coconut water, which was disappointing.
5. Crowd and atmosphere
The hotel attracts an older, quiet crowd. It’s not ideal for younger families or travelers who want easy access to lively areas or evening walks without relying on transport.
Stayed here for several nights and really appreciated the stay.
Set back from the main beach road on a quieter side street, you get proper escape from the Ao Nang chaos while still being reasonably close to everything.
It's a peaceful retreat rather than being in the thick of it.
The rooms are well-maintained—ours overlooked the pool and was comfortable throughout.
Service was great, staff genuinely helpful, and the breakfast was good with decent variety.
The pool isn't massive but it's popular for good reason: lovely spot to chill with that dramatic limestone cliff backdrop rising behind you.
The free shuttle to the beach is genuinely useful. One suggestion though: Extend the hours later into the evening. Ao Nang doesn't shut down at 9pm.
Not the cheapest option around, but fair for what you get—quality accommodation in a quieter setting with good service.
If you want beach proximity without the constant noise and bustle, this strikes a nice balance.
This was an amazing hotel with incredible views. The grounds were impeccable. The pool sparkling.
Breakfasts are included with a buffet style. There is something for everyone.
Our room happened to be on the 4th floor and there was no elevator, but we had amazing views of the cliffs.
I was would absolutely stay here again! The photos don't do it justice.
What a beautiful resort! The property has a gorgeous view of the hill, the pool was clean and great to swim in. We stayed 3 nights. It's about a 20 minute walk from the main street area and they offer pick and drop service every hour. Breakfast was complimentary which was perfect as we spent our days out exploring the area. The staff were kind, helpful and prompt. We also booked our 4-island tour through the hotel (Orchid tours) and we had zero hastles. Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet and romantic getaway.
Additionally, there's no room service or elevators. But that didn't hinder our holiday in any way.
