About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

✅ Clean & Modern: The hotel is very well-kept with what feels like a modern design.
✅ Great Breakfast: There were plenty of options to choose from in the morning.
✅ The Pool was spacious with a well manicured garden, although rather few sun beds
❌ Extremely Small Rooms: The room and bathroom were shockingly tiny. It honestly felt like a cramped boat cabin on a cruise ship.
❌ Zero Space: I could barely find enough floor space to open my suitcase.
❌ Location & Value: It is quite far from the beach and has a high price tag for what you get.

Considering the high price, the remote location, and the incredibly small rooms, I would not stay here again.
Stayed at ibis Styles Krabi Ao Nang recently. The hotel is decent overall and offers some really nice views. One of the biggest advantages is its location — it’s very close to the market, which makes it convenient for evening walks, shopping, and exploring local food options.
The rooms, however, are on the smaller side compared to other nearby hotels. While manageable for a short stay, those looking for more spacious accommodation might find it a bit tight. The hotel does not provide assistance with luggage. We were okay managing it ourselves, but this could be inconvenient for elderly guests or families with heavy bags.
Breakfast was below expectations, especially compared to what we experienced at most other hotels in Thailand. There were limited options, no live counters (not even for omelettes), and the coffee machine did not serve good coffee — we even heard a few other guests mentioning the same issue.
The reception and restaurant staff were fine and professional, but not as warm and friendly as what we experienced in other Thai hotels.
Overall, it’s a reasonable stay mainly because of its location and views, but there is definitely room for improvement in service warmth and breakfast quality.
I stayed at ibis Styles Krabi for two nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything reflected international standards of comfort, cleanliness, and service.
The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Krabi. The bedding was excellent, the room felt fresh, and all essential amenities were well provided. The overall ambiance of the hotel is vibrant yet calm, perfectly matching the ibis Styles brand.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was the hospitality and professionalism of the staff. Every interaction was warm, polite, and efficient. The team was always ready to help, whether it was with check-in, guidance, or any small request, making the stay smooth and stress-free.
The location is also very convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and local areas. Despite being well connected, the hotel maintains a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.
Overall, my stay at ibis Styles Krabi was excellent in every way. It delivers great value, international-quality service, and a pleasant experience from start to finish.
As Accor Plus members we were treated very well. The staff were excellent the room was excellent. We had one of the best views i have ever had from any hotel room anywhere in the world. The street food vendors across the road are great. We eat from them twice. The hotel is a little walk from the beach, but we enjoyed the exercise and used the shuttle a couple of times. We really enjoyed our stay... thank you!
16/01/2026 20:40The location is great, Hotel is basic. Our stay was for only 1 night here. The room size is small but very thoughtfully designed, had dedicated space for all the essentials. We got great weather here, it was all very cloudy and rainy. There’s a huge mountain at the back of the hotel, which looked stunning with clouds over it. We had 2 of the mountain and pool facing rooms, next to each other and 1 room was the Masjid facing. The best part here was the view and the pool side Massage, it was really really good. On a rainy day when we couldn’t step out, we enjoyed the massage without any walls around us and with the sound of the rain, it was really really good.
The buffet is very basic, we got late but didn’t miss much.
There are a lot of beautiful cafe’s and eateries at walkable distance, we had a great time there.
The Hotel’s proximity is also good to enjoy the night market and the Beach Club’s. It’s a very short ride to any place, mostly are walking though.
No complaints about the hygiene, sleep quality or the staff.
