About Krabi and Ao Nang

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

My review is about the restaurant only.
The food is not good.
The chicken curry has a fishy smell, i returned it.
The pizza is not in any way something to serve to people, the dough was very dry and hard to chew, it was small and the sauce tasted like Ketchup. The cheese was burned which indicates that it's not Mozzarella.

I do not recommend the food here.

Very beautiful quiet place both for one and for lovers, clean beach white sand, hundreds of starfish and crabs, as well as a cool pool, bar, and the sea three in one, very polite staff, also service and breakfast on site❤️

Once-In-A-Lifetime Wedding Turned Into a Complete Disaster!

This was supposed to be one of the happiest and most memorable nights of my life.
I held my once-in-a-lifetime wedding here, inviting over a hundred guests, family, and friends — spending time, money, and effort to make everything perfect.

Instead of a smooth and joyful experience, what we got was an absolute nightmare caused by the resort’s owner — not the staff, who honestly did their best — but the owner’s unbelievable behavior, mismanagement, and greed.

Let’s start with the rooms:
We confirmed and paid for 12 rooms for 2 nights weeks before the wedding date. Everything was clearly booked, planned, and reconfirmed.

But when we arrived, it was a total mess.
• Some rooms had broken air-conditioners, others had faulty toilets, doors that wouldn’t close properly, and even ants crawling all over the place.
• The rooms were clearly not checked or maintained at all before our arrival. For an event as important as a wedding, that’s just ridiculous.

And it didn’t stop there. The owner actually instructed the staff to move our personal belongings without even informing us! Who does that? Our guests’ things were shifted around without permission — totally disrespectful and unacceptable.

Then came the caravans:
We had booked four caravan rooms weeks in advance, again fully confirmed. But suddenly, the owner wanted us to move out of those caravans at the very last minute.

And why?
Because they decided to take a last-minute higher-paying booking!
The owner literally prioritized money over our confirmed wedding event.

The most ridiculous part — the people who booked the caravans last minute turned out to be our own wedding guests! So, of course, we found out immediately. That’s how shameless and careless this management was.

The owner’s attitude:
Throughout this chaos, the owner showed zero professionalism, zero respect, and zero accountability.
Instead of apologizing or trying to fix the issues, the owner acted like we were the problem — as if we should just accept everything quietly.

Thankfully, the staff were the only saving grace. They tried to calm things down, helped wherever they could, and were clearly embarrassed by the owner’s actions. I genuinely thank them for their patience.

Final thoughts:
We spent so much time preparing this wedding — booking everything early, inviting so many people, and trusting this place to deliver. Instead, it became one of the most stressful experiences ever.

The owner ruined what was supposed to be one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
If you are thinking of booking this resort for any event — please think twice.

⚠️ You might end up dealing with last-minute chaos, broken rooms, poor maintenance, and an owner who only cares about squeezing extra money, not about your experience or your event.

To the owner: You turned what was meant to be a beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime memory into unnecessary stress and disappointment. Shame on you for putting greed over guests’ happiness.

If I could rate below one star, I would.
Do your wedding or event here only at your own risk — because this place is a total disaster.

This place will forever hold a special place in my heart! We had such an incredible time here. Yes, the rooms are basic, and there’s no closet or space to hang clothes, but the amazing staff and breathtaking beach make it all irrelevant. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed.

The staff go above and beyond—they’ll help you plan your trip, organize transfers, and provide fantastic recommendations. On the beach, you can enjoy an incredible massage, or borrow a kayak or paddleboard for free. During low tide, you can walk along the peaceful beach (shared by no more than 10 people!) and discover starfish, crabs, and other fascinating sea creatures. The remoteness of this place is its greatest charm.

We had a rental car, which I’d recommend if you don’t want to eat at the restaurant every day or need to make a quick supply run to 7/11. That said, they also seem to offer hotel transfers, making it convenient for everyone.

To the amazing staff: thank you for everything—you are truly the best! We can’t wait to return.

Location is really nice with fine white sand and a really quite atmosphere. To charge 90Baht for a shitty small cappuccino... it tasted more like filter coffe with a bit of milk foam. That's the reason for the two stars. The staff was nice
