Anyavee Krabi Beach Resort: A tale of two rooms
Our stay at Anyavee was two completely different experiences, making the overall rating difficult. So if you plan to book here, room selection is key.
The Beachfront Experience (Challenging)
We originally booked a beachfront cottage, hoping for a peaceful, “listen to the waves” sleep. While the sound of the ocean at night was nice, the room had several issues that led to us changing to a different one the next day. We battled mosquitoes constantly, despite the provided net. The bed itself was small, low to the (actually on the floor), and uncomfortable (especially for anyone over six feet tall). The small room size didn't help either.
The Poolside Upgrade (Recommended)
After the first night, we transferred to an inside, poolside room—instant improvement. This room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the patio offered direct access to the pool. They even took the time to decorate our bed with flowers as we were celebrating our anniversary :)
Dining Note
We did not eat any meals here aside from the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was adequate but simply average—neither a highlight nor a major complaint.
We had a truly calming and peaceful stay at Anyavee Krabi Beach Resort.
We stayed for 6 nights and genuinely loved every moment. The staff were warm, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile, which added so much to the overall experience.
The resort sits right on a gorgeous stretch of beach that almost feels private. The sand is clean, the water is crystal clear, and it’s perfect for swimming — honestly one of the cleanest beaches we’ve experienced in Krabi. Our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable, and came with a lovely balcony offering a partial sea view, making our mornings and evenings extra special.
The property is a little away from Ao Nang (the main hub of Krabi), but because we were specifically looking for a serene, quiet place to unwind, the location worked beautifully for us. Renting a scooter made getting around extremely easy. All the essential amenities were well taken care of.
That said, there were two areas that could be improved.
The pool wasn’t very clean, likely due to the rain, and didn’t seem to be maintained frequently. And the breakfast was quite limited — so limited that after the first two days, we chose to skip it altogether. If the resort enhances these two aspects, it has the potential to be a truly fantastic stay.
Overall, a wonderful and peaceful beachfront resort that we would recommend for those seeking tranquility away from the crowds — with just a little room for improvement.
What a wonderful place to experience Thailand for the first time. The resort is on a wonderful beach with private longtail boats to rent for the day to see all the gorgeous islands (even monkeys!) The food was authentic and delicious but also catered to other cultures as well if you craved something from home. Teddy took such great care of us from the moment we arrived to the last moment he helped get us in a taxi to the dock. Rehanna and staff were outstanding too. We were treated like family with special touches like putting our beds together for our honeymoon. The rooms are just divine with all the details like flip flops, lotions, towels and even a beach bag were included. Teddy created a congratulations and happy birthday poster for us too. Everything we needed they arranged and we fell in love with Thailand thanks to Anyavee! We appreciate the rustic atmosphere with less people and full of love and kindness.
24/02/2026 10:54We stayed at Anyavee for 12 days and loved it! Location was stunning with the most beautiful beach only few steps away and stunning sunsets every evening. Room was very spacious and clean! Staff was super friendly. We’ll definitely come back
06/02/2026 19:40We booked it in a hurry, pretty much last minute, so we didn't have high expectations. But in the end, we had a really good stay. Rooms were spacious, well equipped, and clean. Internet connection was really good (I was working every day). Staff was very helpful and always there. Location is great - right at the beach, not too far from the main road. There are also many boat trips you can take straight from the beach. I would say it definitely deserves more that 4.2 or 7.7 (booking).
