About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Hit the jackpot with Cocco House a family run business. A cute property with individual bungalow cottages. Spacious, comfortable, very well kept. Nestled in a garden of fruit trees and chirping birds. Tranquil. Excellent breakfast. Rented scooter here.
Off the main street but an easy walk. 5min from Landmark night market/nopparat thara/ ao nang beach on a bike
Suggestion: consider providing handsoap.
Great place to stay! The area is quiet and surrounded by nature, yet only a 10-minute walk from the local street food market. The host was super friendly and gave us great recommendations on things to do. The beach isn’t very close, but Grab taxis are cheap and convenient, so it wasn’t an issue. The breakfast was the highlight, huge portions and absolutely delicious. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay!
22/11/2025 23:09This is a low-budget accommodation, and you should be aware of that before booking. The photos are a bit outdated, and the place is not in its best condition anymore. On the positive side, everything was clean, which we really appreciated.
The breakfast, however, was very good and tasty, definitely a highlight during our stay.
The location is very quiet and pleasant. Within a 5-minute walk you reach a street with local food stalls, fruit stands, and a 7-Eleven, which was very convenient.
Unfortunately, on our last day the water supply was cut off due to city construction work. We only received notice after the water was already gone, which meant we couldn’t even store some water in advance. Later that night we were informed via WhatsApp that the outage would last longer, so we continued to have no water. Not being able to flush the toilet was quite uncomfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay in Cocco house. We spent there almost 6 days and it was really sad to say goodbye. The room was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and the place to sit outside. The beach is walking distance (25min.) and there are local restaurants nearby with affordable and tasty food. The administrator was very friendly and helpful. He gave us recommendations for places to visit. He was the first person so good in english which we met in Thailand. We would really recommend staying in this place!
30/03/2025 10:36Stayed here for five days and it was overall very pleasant. The location is a little further from the main area, but it’s still walkable and accessible by grab. They helped us book a hotel transfer to our next destination, and gave us recommendations for things to do.
The rooms were nice and the bathrooms were a good size (largest bathroom I’ve had so far since being in Thailand).
