About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

Stunning Rooms and Great Location, but the Water & WiFi were Dealbreakers
Rating: ⭐⭐/5
We stayed in Room 3304 on the 3rd floor, which offered a fantastic view of the pool and the water slide. The rooms themselves are beautiful and well-maintained.
The Positives:
Comfort: The beds were very comfortable. A small note: the pillows are extra large/elevated. While a bit high for my personal preference, they are perfect if you like a lot of elevation while sleeping.
Breakfast: The morning buffet was a highlight—it changed every day and offered fresh fruits, vegetables for a DIY salad, and great flavored yogurt options.
Location: The setting is incredibly convenient. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Ao Nang Night Market (to the right) and 10 minutes to the beach (to the left). There is a great stretch of Indian restaurants and massage parlors nearby.
Thoughtful Extras: They provide two pairs of slippers, an umbrella, and a very handy beach basket with towels. The staff was also responsive to our queries, even when they didn't have the best news to share.
The Dealbreakers (Why I’m giving 2 stars):
Salty Water: This was the most disappointing part of our stay. The water is extremely salty, as if it’s being pumped directly from the ocean. It was impossible to shower, brush our teeth, or wash our hair comfortably. It actually caused skin breakouts (pimples) and left us feeling dirty even after a shower. As Indian travelers, we found the water quality seriously damaged our hair and skin.
WiFi Issues: The WiFi was down for almost our entire 3-night stay. Every day we were told the "software was down" and a tech would fix it "tomorrow." It only worked for a few hours one afternoon. Don't rely on being able to work or stream here.
Room Layout: There are no charging outlets near the bedstands, which is quite inconvenient in this day and age.
Summary: If you can overlook salty water and a lack of internet, the rooms and location are great. However, for us, the basic necessity of clean water for hygiene was not met. We wouldn't stay here again.
rooms were very basic, neat and clean. their breakfast buffet is small and no indian, all is continental. our experience was good. inhouse beer prices are affordable. their pool is awsome, it has slides for kids and adults. we had a gr8 time poolside. staff was courteous and responsive. walking distance to the market and 7/11.
30/01/2026 20:15My trip to Krabi was a long-awaited family holiday, and all our bookings were carefully planned—flights through MakeMyTrip and the hotel through Goibibo. Unfortunately, the hotel stay turned out to be extremely disappointing.
My concerns began even before arrival. Despite multiple calls and emails to the hotel prior to travel, there was no response from the hotel reception. I had to escalate this to Goibibo, who informed me that they had received a response from the hotel over email—making it even more surprising that none of my direct attempts were acknowledged.
We arrived in Krabi late at night and had to arrange our own transport to the hotel. Upon reaching the property around 11:30 PM, the front office staff was neither welcoming nor helpful. We were assigned a bare room in a separate building with two beds, the room intercom was not functional, and no assistance was offered—even though we were new to the city and had not had dinner. At the very least, guidance on nearby food options would have been appreciated.
The behaviour of the staff was another major letdown. Requests for basic amenities such as dental kits and hand soap were met with mocking responses. Additionally, the staff made little to no effort to communicate in English and continued conversing in Thai, despite us being tourists. While I used Google Translate to manage basic communication, this should not be expected of guests.
Housekeeping was inconsistent and unreliable. Even after placing the “Please Clean” sign outside the room, cleaning was often skipped and only addressed after repeated follow-ups with the front desk.
Lastly, the property’s location was misleading. We specifically chose a hotel close to Ao Nang Beach, but the actual distance was significant—something we only realized after arrival. The photos and descriptions advertised online do not accurately reflect the location or overall experience.
Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations on multiple fronts—communication, hospitality, cleanliness, and transparency. I would strongly urge future travelers to verify details carefully before booking.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Location is good, almost everything is within walking distance. 15- 20 minutes walk to ao nang beach. Decent breakfast spread. This hotel has rooms on 2 sides of the road, we had 2 different rooms for 2 nights. The main building one is good and comfortable, priced slightly higher. The ones on the opposite side of the road is also decent in terms of rooms, but the evelator here is tricky. You have to climb up and down a small flight of stair after getting down the elevator to reach the room. The staff of the hotel helped us with the luggage during check in. Swimming pool was found reasonably good, same as the one shown in the photo. Never used it , to comment about the comfort or quality. Staff of the resort are courteous and welcoming.
21/01/2026 21:15Its a nice affordable hotel if you are looking for a pool jump down room. Water slide is also for adults to play. Got breakfast and free parking lots. Location is good, surrounded with laundry shop, walking streets and restaurants. My room is a jacuzzi family room. Just nice for a 4 of us (youngest 3 yrs old).
