About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

I booked a room three days in ago and got a room upstairs. When I went to check in, I got a room downstairs, the room wasn’t good, the door is broken and a lot of mosquitoes. I called the owner of the bungalow, the owner told me that the person who stayed rn, Their flight was canceled so they can stayed and she gave the room downstairs to me instead. The owner didn’t even call me but I found out by myself today. It's very bad. How can I do this? It's really awful, I'm very upset.
14/11/2025 15:30AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is, without a doubt, the worst room I’ve stayed in after two months of traveling in Thailand.
Where do I even begin? The bathroom is covered in mold, the furniture is outdated and literally falling apart, the entire room smells awful, and the air conditioning is filthy—clearly never cleaned. But the worst part? The doors have cracks, making it easy for cockroaches to invade. One night, we had to kill seven of them. The next night, I woke up in a panic because one was crawling on my face. Absolutely disgusting.
Even checking in was a nightmare. The staff didn’t speak a word of English, fumbled around with our phone like they had never seen a reservation before, and made the whole process painfully frustrating.
The owners clearly don’t care—the place is falling apart, and they’re doing nothing about it. And to top it off, the price isn’t even cheap!
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
We really loved our stay here. The rooms are great staff is super helpful and friendly. The pool is clean and refreshing after a day of walking in the sun. It’s a 12 min walk to the beach ,10 min walk to the night market , 5 min walk to corner store and food options. I highly recommend looms wich restaurant! Food is amazing!
09/11/2024 06:10Bad experience! We booked three rooms three months ago and get confirmation from the hotel. However when we arrived the hotel with two kids and lot of luggages no body in the receptions. We called four different numbers to ask where to check in, eventually a lady in the phone told us our room was cancelled with mistakes!!!!!!!!Without notice us! We then, at ten at night, taking two kids have to book another hotel with much higher price and move!!

The bad reviews are old and now it's more updated solid building.
Rooms are still pretty basic but have got AC, hot-ish water and a telly. The room was clean and bed sheets were fresh. For what you pay I'd say it's an OK deal. I've stayed in far worse places for about the same money I spent here, so if you like peace and quiet this is the place to come.
The old bungalows are still here but I don't think they use them now.
Staff are lovely and I actually really like the location, in the country a bit, but just up the road you have a great collection of authentic Thai road stalls/cafes and you're right next door to the boxing stadium, too.
