About Krabi and Krabi province
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Krabi province sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

I went to Krabi for 3 days just this week itself. It is a beautiful place where you can do so much if you plan it well.. or you can have a chill holiday experience..
I visited the Ao Nang Beach everyday and went to Railay Beach (+ Phra Nang Cave) one day for exploration. Went to Ao Nang Beach in the morning for sunrise and wow I was mesmerized..
Krabi is a great little town with not to many tourists.
Every weekend opens up the walking street.
Krabi town was amazing, I liked the fact that there wasn't so much people comparing to Ao Nang, very chill place, you can go to anywhere from here.
28/02/2026 19:56I loved to walk along the river from my hotel the funky crab by river, along the flat footpath into the town! Along the way they were lots of lovely sculptures one of which played music. I
Therr was also seating if it was too hot and I got whilst I walked. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town and several markets I managed to find the post office and another market up the hil, l taxis are readily available. I took one to klong muang another too Krabi hot springs, and one Ao Nang. There is also a monument but I couldn't climb it there were too many steps! I used Otteri laundromat and a salon called Nails before males. All these places were excellent and I felt very safe on my own in the town. If I walked out of my hotel to the right I ended up in Thaa Park, which is greatly underused. From Thars Pier I took a boat ride around the mango trees and Islands, made a stop to see monkeys and a cave. I was in Krabi town for 10 days and during that time there was plenty to do.
Probably it's just me, but I haven't found much what to see hear. Lot's of bars and restaurant. Nice street near night market, especially at evening.
