We ate at Thai Me Up four times during our stay and were happy every single time. The food is delicious – whether it’s breakfast or dinner – and the staff are outstandingly friendly, warm and welcoming. Their English is good enough to help with questions and special requests, which made everything very easy for us.
On our first visit I was looking for something very simple because my stomach was irritated. They kindly made me a rice soup with chicken balls off the menu, and it was so tasty and comforting that I came back the next day to have the exact same dish again. I also had some mashed potatoes on the side, which really helped and made me feel cared for.
On our last evening we arrived shortly before closing time and they still prepared a Pad Kra Pao pizza for us, which I really wanted to try once I was feeling better. It was absolutely worth the wait.
Every time we were there, they took the time to chat with us and you could see how genuinely happy they were about our positive feedback. Our absolute happy place during this vacation – highly recommended.
The pork skewers were a tasty starter and then loads of prawns in prawn and garlic dish, very nice food. Friend had the burger and it looked great and he said tasted very good.

The Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup were absolutely delicious. We truly hope your restaurant will still be here when we return to Thailand; we can’t wait to come back!
06/02/2026 11:05During our 9-day stay in Ao Nang, we came to this restaurant every single day! The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, everything is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff truly made the experience special — exceptionally friendly, warm, and polite. Gift and Kid completely stole our hearts, and we will remember them for a very long time. A must-visit place during your holidays!

Thai Me Up completely blew me away. We ordered the soft shell crab yellow curry, green curry with beef, and mango sticky rice — every single dish was incredible. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best Thai food I’ve had. The soft shell crab yellow curry was a standout, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect finish. On top of that, the service was amazing — warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. This has officially become my favourite spot in Thailand. I’ll be coming back again and again!
