Food is excellent with fresh local ingredient sourcing from nearby fishermen. We've had three meals here throughout our stay at Tubkaak hotel and all have lived up to the expectations of a Michelin-awarded chef. Recommend all fish related dishes as it is a "catch of the day," as in the fish was caught that very morning.

The breakfast was good, paired with the signature chicken noodle soup or the hainanese chicken rice. Signature dishes change on a daily interval.

Service is top notch and unparalleled. Food turnaround is good even with a fully-booked restaurant. There is live music every day, starting with a single instrument session (saxophone) and then ends with a duet (singing paired with guitar).

The happy hour starts at 5.30pm and the Tubkaak cocktail signature is the best choice to select from.

I've been going here for about the past 10 years whenever I was in Krabi. I like the food and the atmosphere. The service has usually been good but this afternoon we were shown to a nice table and started having some drinks, but after about an hour were told that they had a reservation on the table for about 1 hour later. Weird to tell a customer that part-way through. We had only been there around an hour.

They did say we could move to a table further inside, but instead we decided to finish our meal quickly and move on. They were polite about it, but I think it's kind of sloppy service to show a customer to a table without mentioning that there's a time limit on it.

There was also a few mosquitoes around and I think they could've done a bit better with the fans to ensure mosquitoes were not reaching customers.

At a lower grade place perhaps these things could be understandable, but my expectations are a bit higher here. I hope it's just a one-off, as I've really enjoyed my visits here in the past.

Best thing about this hotel is this restaurant! Especially the Thai southern food selections. Everything was so good. I would come here just for the food. So tasty without using any MSG. And they do grow some of the produce themselves too.
The menus section from David Thomson was very interesting.

Restaurant with gorgeous beach view especially during sunset! We’re lucky enough to book the best seat! Many Thai (southern and seafood based menu) My fav is Nham-prik. The ingredients are fresh. The flavours not match my preference, expect more aromatic.

The price is high but understandable due to the great atmosphere that we got, there was live music as well! The staff are extremely helpful.
