Practical tips
- Visit slightly before standard lunch or dinner peaks to avoid queues.

About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

We had some delicious BBQ chicken here! We also had very good Tom yum goong soup. I would come back to have the BBQ chicken again, but I’d also like to try their BBQ seafood. Their noodles in green curry sauce with chicken was also VERY good.
08/03/2026 22:46This is our 2nd time we had lunch at the Railay Corner Restaurant.
The grilled 1/2 chicken (200 baht/€5.40) was well seasoned and very juicy, the papaya salad (100 baht/€2.70) very fresh and lovely tangy and "the morning glory/greens (100 baht/€2.70) nicely cooked.
All dishes were of a generous portion and incredibly delicious!
We loved it so much that we came back for a 2nd time.
The owner and the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful.
Not sure what the biggest attraction here is: The rotisserie producing wonderful-juicy chicken, the tame Kakadu entertaining the
crowd, the food elevator sending the dishes up to the balcony or the money elevator sending the payments down from upstairs.
We can highly recommend the Railay Corner Restaurant.
We will be back tomorrow.
Highly recommend the half baked chicken - so delicious and moist! Great stir fried morning glory. Solid mango sticky fried rice. Chicken satay were good but have had better elsewhere. Lots of seating and good service.

We had long lunch and really enjoyed the food.
The portions are very generous and we couldn't finish all the food.
The half roasted chicken and fried pineapple rice with shrimp stood out but really it was all great.
Best chicken on the beach. If you are visiting Railey beach you have to come here for a meal. We had the half chicken, pineapple fried rice and stir fried morning glory and they are all amazing
Would highly recommend.
