About Krabi and Krabi province
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Krabi province sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.
When planning island tours from Krabi, arrive at the pier early, bring sun protection, and keep cash for national park fees. Tour availability depends on tide and wind — confirm with the operator the evening before departure.

Spent a week with James, who is a professional trainer himself, training Muay Thai. What an amazing experience. i learned and improved my technique more in those few days with James than i did in the 4 weeks i spent at a muay thai school in Phuket.
Definitely recommend taking lesson with him.. Already planning my next trip to Railey so i can train more with James.
Wish you all the best James.
This ended up being one of the best sessions I have had to date while training muy thai in Thailand, I am still a beginner only having done around 10 sessions. But Khittanai was very professional, easy to get on with and was able to show me proper technique in depth which enabled me to improve not only my boxing skills but also my muy thai, with some sparring at the end which really helped me to put the training into practice and to get experience of what it's like to fight an opponent properly, he is a great coach and I would highly recommend it to any level of fighter.
27/08/2023 23:26Me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better trainer. He’s a professional fighter and is excellent teacher who is very patient with his students, you will learn a lot!!
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a serious Muay Thai training session!
I cannot recommend this place/James more strongly! My partner and I trained all over southern Thailand (gyms in Phuket, Ao Nang, and Bangkok) and this was by far the best instruction we got. The instructor is really knowledgeable, patient, and an excellent teacher. Also private lessons here are about the same price as a group class at other gyms -- crazy good deal. If you are in Railay or Tonsai, whether you are advanced or brand new, COME TRAIN HERE!
