About Krabi and Koh Lanta

Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Koh Lanta sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.

Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.

When planning island tours from Krabi, arrive at the pier early, bring sun protection, and keep cash for national park fees. Tour availability depends on tide and wind — confirm with the operator the evening before departure.

Lanta Yoga is great! I went there five times while staying on the Island. It does not matter if you are a beginner or a pro. Caroline is a very friendly and open person who remembers all the names of the participants. I had injured my knee and could not do all the poses, but she always showed me alternative poses that I could do. Also the location is beautiful. Highly recommended! :)

A serene place. Even though the yoga shed is actually just a few steps away from the main road, it feels secluded, as if you were far in the jungle. The yoga flow was a challenge for me, especially in the hot Thai climate, but the teacher will make sure all levels are accommodated, you can use props and are welcome to modify your practice. Both Caroline, the teacher, and her place are awesome, highly recommended.

Caroline gave such an amazing class today. It was like a mix between vinyasa and hatha yoga where you have a sun salutation but also have to hold poses. Stunning setting with birds chirping and trees moving with the wind. At first I was worried I would be too warm at a 9am class, but the breezed and fans kept me at perfect temperature. Left the place floating and was hoping I could go back before leaving Koh Lanta on Sunday, but no more classes until Monday. Definitely visit for a lovely class and experience.

Went to multiple classes and each class had variations, Caroline is a fantastic instructor! It really was one of the highlights of my stay in Koh Lanta. Beautiful, serene setting, perfect for yogis at all levels. No need to go anywhere else and reasonably priced!
