About Krabi and Ao Nang
Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast is famous for limestone cliffs, clear water, and easy access to islands such as Phi Phi, Hong Island, and local four-island loops. Ao Nang sits within this network of beaches, piers, and national park zones, making it practical for both short holidays and week-long stays. Infrastructure has improved steadily — ATMs, mini-marts, clinics, and tour counters are common — yet the region still feels more relaxed than busier beach hubs.
Check In Krabi publishes guides, hotel lists, restaurant picks, and public place notes to help visitors compare options before they book. Always cross-check ferry times, park fees, and national holiday crowds because conditions change by season. Respect marine parks: avoid single-use plastic on boats, do not stand on coral, and follow staff instructions during snorkeling stops.
When planning island tours from Krabi, arrive at the pier early, bring sun protection, and keep cash for national park fees. Tour availability depends on tide and wind — confirm with the operator the evening before departure.

The gym is in a very good location with beautiful views, the bags are in good condition. For the 3 rounds of pad work in the ring, the trainers I had (Saturn) was excellent, giving many improvement tips on how to enhance technique. He was also very friendly and encouraging.
The area that can be improved is on the bags, for a majority of the class we were left to it without instruction. There should be at least a few instructors walking round giving improvement tips for bag work, otherwise the only time you learn is on the pads.
If they start doing this it will greatly improve the learning for students.
The gym is in a beautiful location, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I came in as a complete beginner, and they were very kind and accommodating. If you’re new to this, I’d recommend doing a few private PT sessions first — it’s a great way to learn the basics before joining the group classes.
13/11/2025 10:15The trainers at this gym are attentive, knowledgeable, compassionate, entertaining and eager to help students of any level improve in Muay Thai. The owners of the gym are fantastic with consistent communication and accomodations ahead of time for prospective students and those interested in the training camp. Most training sessions allow students to take things at their own pace while still challenging themselves. I have a background in endurance sports and found myself struggling to keep up when I started with the sessions here, but was able to quickly catch up as I became more accustomed to the weather and high intensity of the workouts. Morning sessions at the gym typically include the option of sparring and/or technique work while afternoon sessions include one-on-one padwork with trainers. I cannot recommend this gym enough, whether it is for a single session to try out Muay Thai or as part of a larger training program. They offer a program for coaching as well, I had an amazing time and learned so much from the trainers, I was even able to gain some practice coaching during some of the more crowded sessions!
19/06/2024 16:29Amazing Muay Thai Training With A Beautiful View Of Krabi's Limestone Cliffs
Emerald Muay Thai gym has a lovely view surrounded by limestone cliffs, which you can see as you train! The trainers are phenomenal and pay close attention to detail from correcting my little daughter’s stance to helping me improve my punches. The gym is extremely spacious and has a wide range of modern equipment - everything you need for quality Muay Thai training. I trained with Kru Dim, who is the champion of the Southern region of Thailand. It was awesome training with him and he really helped me power through! If you’re in Krabi, I totally recommended checking out this Muay Thai gym!
Great atmosphere and training, coaches are all super professional and friendly and will help you progress no matter your level. Big shoutout Kru Sanit for the classes
